Mini-Walmart Haul
Hey everyone, I just got back from a trip to two different Walmarts in search of pop dots, but to no avail! However, I did find some things of interest. I made a video showing everything off, however, it came out really dark, so I will try again tonight, with some extra lighting.
I got:
~Martha Stewart Edge Punch- Train ($5.00)
~Martha Stewart Edge Punch- Arch Lattice ($5.00)
~Martha Stewart Pigment Ink Pads- Pastel ($4.00)
~Martha Stewart Pigment Ink Pads- Aquarium ($4.00)
~Martha Stewart Pigment Ink Pads- Floral ($4.00)
As comparison:
At Joann the punches are $15.99, they do not carry the ink pads (at least online they don't).
At Amazon the ink pads are $9.99
I would suggest checking your local Walmart(s) for the best prices, because the same day I bought these I seen them at a different walmart for $2.00 more.
Like I said earlier, I will try to make another video tonight, using better lighting and I will "test" everything on camera for the first time (should be humorous! :) )

Male Card using Life is a Beach-Helm
Valentine's Card
4 Cards using A Flower for All Seasons Stamps (Stampin Up)
The first card was made using the cuttlebug folder: Stylized Flowers
The second card was made using the cuttlebug folder: Distressed Stripes
The third card was made using the cuttlebug folder: Snowflakes
The fourth card was given to my mother for Easter, hence the sloppy handwritten "Happy Easter Mom!"

Get Well Card
This may not look like a get well card, but you will understand in a minute.
My grandma loves animals and so when a pit-bull randomly ended up in her backyard, she took her in and cared for her because no one would take her, and if she went to the shelter they would put her down. She is extremely lovable and a complete people person, but she must have been trained to fight, because every time she sees another dog she attacks. My grandma has two other dogs, so she had to keep them separated and let the pit out at separate times so the dogs would never come into contact. Just recently she forgot one of the other dogs was still outside when she let the pit out and of course the pit attacked. She (stupidly in my opinion) tried to break the dogs up and she was severely injured, more so than either dog, she is not able to use her hands as they have cuts and bites all over them and she had rug burn from the outdoor carpet on her face and arms from wrestling with the dogs. She has a since of humor and she thought this card was perfect for the occasion and I knew she would so I made it for her.
It was made using a retired Stampin Up Stamp: Golden Oldies, it says "My mind not only wanders--sometimes it leaves completely."
I also used the cuttlebug folder: Textile

Some of my Photography
Mom's Birthday Card
I attempted to participate in the MCPT Challenge each month on Cricut.com but like I said I got sidetracked from crafting and focused on school. This image was from January!! I thought it was perfect for my mom because she is trying to eat healthier now. I scraplifted the idea from someone on cricut.com because I thought it was too cute, I did change it up some...
I used the gamsol technique (MCPT) and then went over the balloon and icing layers with clear stickles to make them sparkle. I pop dotted the whole scalloped thing up, but you can't really tell. The "dots" around the scalloped edge are skittles :)

Thanks for being a GREAT professor!
I wanted to make a simple card to give to my professor that I really appreciated so I come up with this:
It was made using MTC and then I used stickles all over it to give it color! :) I like it! :) For easter, my lovely finace bought me Cricut Markers so I used those to write "Thanks for being a GREAT Professor" on the inside (no pics or that part though...)

Been a LONG time!!
I have been very focused on school work so I have had no time to craft! :( However, it is now summer, so I have been crafting as much as I can and I will post some of my stuff now. :)
